The Peoples Daily, March 4, according to the consumer price trends information released by the Korean National Statistical Office, South Korea in February consumer prices rose 1.4%, the chain increased 0.3%. The price rose year on year for four consecutive months is maintained at the level of 1-2%. But fresh food index rose year-on-year by 7.4%, one of the vegetables soared 25.1% year-on-year. Among them, the core consumer price index rose 1.3%, up 0.2% qoq. Less volatile energy and food, core consumer price index rose 1.2% qoq. Living price index year-on-year and the chain rose 0.8% and 0.4%, respectively. In contrast, fresh food index rose relatively higher qoq and a year-on-year increase of 1.8% and 7.4%, respectively. Vegetables chain rose 4.2% year-on-year surge of 25.1%. Fish and shellfish MoM 1.7% increase in fruit ring than 0.1%. In accordance with the terms of the objectives of expenditure, compared with January, household items and housekeeping services rose by 0.8%, food and non-alcoholic drinks as well as traffic rose 0.5% each. Housing, water, electricity and fuel increased by 0.4%. A whole, in addition to other goods and services (-4.4%) and communications (0.0%), other areas are rising.
